Tasneem Shahnaaz, is Professor in the Department of English, Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi. She has been the Coordinator of the English Language Proficiency Course (or ELPC) at the Department of Adult Continuing Education and Extension, University of Delhi for 2 years (2015-2017). Besides editing the Fortell journal several times, she has been a master teacher trainer and resource person for SCERT Delhi, DAV schools and Cambridge University Press. She is interested in English language teaching, South Asian studies, translation work, and feminist and cultural studies. She has published (and continues to do so) several literary articles and reviews in scholarly journals and critical anthologies. She writes poetry which has been published in many poetry journals in India and abroad. She has co-authored Business English, (Pearson, 2008) and English and Communication Skills Parts I & II (CUP, 2015 & 2016). Her co-edited book Crossing Borders: Essays on Literature, Culture, and Society was published in the USA (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2017).
