Manjari Chaturvedi, PhD (JNU) has been teaching English Literature, language, and communication for over a decade along with working in diverse fields from documentary films, art criticism to studying colonial historical representations. Her publications are varied ranging from appraisal of UGC-NET to the cultural functions of haats or the weekly markets, to her doctoral research on the representation of Nana Saheb Peshwa, a leader during the 1857 war.
Having taught in the English departments of colleges of University of Delhi, and in the Communication Department at Shiv Nadar University, she now teaches at the School for Life (SFL) at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She has been a Fulbright scholar (Foreign Language Teaching Assistant) in 2016-17 in the department of Modern languages at Florida International University (FIU), Miami, USA and is now exploring disruptive learning methodologies, E-learning, and inter-generational learning. She has initiated and is leading the Writing Centre at UPES for providing academic and creative writing support to students and faculty.
