Mona Sinha, is Associate Professor in the Department of English, Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, where she has been teaching literature, language and cultural studies for more than 25 years. She has been associated with FORTELL for nearly 15 years and has edited several issues of the journal. She was also associated with creating, teaching and mentoring for the ELPC (English Language Proficiency Course) initiated by ILLL (Institute of Life Long Learning) at University of Delhi. Her varied publications include translations, newspaper articles, papers and book chapters on feminist studies, media and television studies, popular culture as well as language proficiency. Her most recent publications include a co-edited anthology on Indian Popular Fiction: New Genres, Novel Spaces, shortly to be re-published by Routledge. Backed by her long years of teaching, she holds an active interest in the evolving needs of students with respect to pedagogy and methodologies for the teaching/learning of language and literature, as also the use of modern technological tools for enabling an e-learning environment.
