Rachna Sethi, is Professor in the Department of English, Rajdhani College, University of Delhi. She has been a recipient of Katha Award for translation from Hindi to English in 2004. She was selected to be an Associate at Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla from 2013-15 where she pursued research on narratives of Delhi. Her areas of interest are postcolonial literature, urban studies, gender studies and innovative pedagogy. She has presented papers and published at various national and international fora in these areas. She has co-edited Dialogues: English Studies in India (Aakar Books, 2020), a volume of interviews where academics deliberate upon policy, practice and pedagogy pertaining to the discipline. She has had a long association with Fortell in various administrative capacities. She has been on the Editorial Board since 2009 and has edited 10 issues of the journal, the last one being a special issue on ‘Teacher Research as a Tool for Professional Development’ in July 2020. Her creative side finds expression through poetry and photography.
